Discover the 2026 Summer Programming at Malvina
For its fifth season, the Centre de création et de diffusion de Malvina (near Coaticook in the Eastern Townships) invites you to freely discover a rich and singular cultural program, under the theme Territoires sensibles — Bodies, Memory, and Transforming Intelligences.
In 2026, let yourself be surprised by renewed outdoor pathways, immersive installations, digital works, performances, participatory workshops, conferences, and new virtual reality experiences.
Over seven Saturdays (and one Monday), from July to September, come experience a unique open-air journey where art, territory, memory, and emerging technologies coexist in an artistic journey that is unique in Québec. This season, discover:
- The unveiling of a life-size sculpture of Malvina’s draft horse in the Malvina autrefois pathway, a work by sculptor Royden Mills
- A complete renewal of the Corps primal / Corps futur exhibition, with 17 new panels
- A new virtual reality experience: Intelligences sauvages
- The creation of the Corps-Territoires tour, bringing together printmaking, sculpture, poetic and sound installations, and new collaborative works by Sean Caulfield and Isabelle Van Grimde
- Screening of the MESSIS films in the film gallery and the podcasts on the terrace
The season opens in style on July 4 with a concert by the Malvina Jazz Trio and welcome remarks from the team.
And to close beautifully, on September 26, the ccdMalvina celebrates the Journées de la culture with a conference on the history of the Eastern Townships and a set carré with Robert Goulet and his musicians.
