An Immersive Experience Between Body, Nature, and Artificial Intelligence – In Creation

Creation residencies at Sporobole in December 2025, February-March 2026

In a post-anthropocene laboratory, a performer communicates with our planet’s last surviving tree. Equipped with a revolutionary camera-prosthesis, she discovers an immersive technological performance where artificial intelligence reveals the invisible connections between species.

This contemporary transdisciplinary creation by Van Grimde Corps Secrets (VGCS) explores the hybridization of the human body, nature, and emerging technologies. Here, artificial intelligence and ecology meet in an unprecedented perceptual dialogue, revealing what lies beneath the bark and under the skin: mycorrhizal networks, the flow of sap, and chemical exchanges between species.

An Innovative Research-Creation Process

Since April 2024, Wild Intelligences has been investigating a fascinating question: what if AI were the key to finally understanding the intelligence of nature that we have never been able to grasp? The project leverages cutting-edge technologies—generative AI, augmented reality, biometric sensors—to create a unique immersive experience.

Artistic Development in the Heart of the Eastern Townships

This interactive installation in the Eastern Townships is rooted in the territory of the Malvina Creation and Presentation Centre (Malvina CPC) at 309 chemin de Malvina, Saint-Malo, Eastern Townships, where VGCS develops its research on body-technology-environment hybridization. The creative process will enter a new phase during an artistic residency at Sporobole (Sherbrooke) in December 2025.

A Digital Art Creation in Quebec

Wild Intelligences is part of the dynamic landscape of Quebec digital art, positioning the Eastern Townships as a hub of artistic innovation. This interactive installation rethinks the links between technology and nature, turning the body into a laboratory for experimentation where contemporary art, science, and technology meet to reveal new forms of coexistence.
