DiffusionEve 2050

Van Grimde Corps Secrets has been invited to tour Germany this fall with EVE 2050: The Installation. We look forward to meeting the audiences of these prestigious cultural institutions!

From November 5 to 8, 2020, we will be at the Muffatwerk in Munich. This major venue, considered an international cultural hub, will host EVE 2050: The Installation for a three-day exhibition, four performances and a roundtable discussion. These presentations are part of the depARTures series organized by JOINT ADVENTURES, which this year is spotlighting Quebec dance.

From November 11 to 12, we will be at the Zentrum für Kunst und Medien (ZKM) during the TANZ Karlsruhe Festival for four performances, two days of exhibitions and a lecture by Isabelle Van Grimde. For 24 years, the TANZ Karlsruhe Festival has annually presented between 10 and 12 dance companies from around the world. The Hofesh Shechter Company, Akram Khan Company, Rosas and Wayne McGregor, among many others, have performed there.

With its exhibition space of some 15,000 square meters, the ZKM showcases contemporary developments in art, science, technology and society. It has thus become a must for artists experimenting with innovative forms and languages through technological media. In a creative and critical manner, the ZKM has made the rapid transformations in communications and information technology more accessible to the public, along with the resulting artistic possibilities and social changes.

From November 24 to 28, we will be participating in the digital edition of the FIAV in Casablanca with EVE 2050: The Web Series, prior to next year’s performance of EVE 2050: The Stage Work as part of the Quebec Focus.

We would like to thank each of these institutions for their hospitality, and for allowing us to share our work and research with increasingly numerous and diverse audiences!
