A powerful outdoor exhibition reimagining how we see the body

Primal Body / Future Body is an open-air art exhibition that challenges and reinvents the perception of the human body through large-scale photo and video installations, thought-provoking texts, and a stunning virtual reality experience.

A visionary creation by choreographer Isabelle Van Grimde, in collaboration with cultural mediator Sylvain Dodier, the exhibition invites you on a sensory journey through the diverse natural environments of Malvina — forest, meadow, river and sky.

This immersive walk-through exhibition presents a unique window into the artistic universe of Van Grimde Corps Secrets. Visitors will encounter key excerpts from the company’s major works, including Messis, Eve 2050, Le corps en question(s), Symphonie 5.1 and Les Gestes.

Throughout the route, installations combine visual art, digital media, and choreography, sparking reflection on how our bodies are shaped by time, technology, identity and the living world. The exhibition culminates in an interactive virtual reality experience that expands these questions into the speculative future.

Additional content from the exhibition — including photos, videos, podcast episodes and more — is available on site and through the link below, enhancing your experience of Primal Body / Future Body.
