Together, we explored\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vangrimdecorpssecrets.com\/en\/ccd-malvina\/malvina-autrefois\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malvina in the Old Days<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, encountered bodies in transformation, dipped our feet in the river, and experienced the virtual reality works\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vangrimdecorpssecrets.com\/en\/oeuvres\/messis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MESSIS<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vangrimdecorpssecrets.com\/oeuvres\/en\/intelligences-sauvages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wild Intelligences<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the moment they arrived, handshakes and hugs set the tone. Their enthusiasm was palpable. Throughout the visit, they were curious, attentive, and eager to share their impressions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking at one of the works, one participant observed: \u2018The plant on her back looks like veins.\u2019 A little farther along, someone else exclaimed: \u2018She\u2019s a house-woman!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From these observations, we gradually began to build a story together. Every detail became a doorway into the imagination. The works transformed through their eyes, and their interpretations opened up new stories for us to invent together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Caring for the Living World<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout our conversations, one idea kept returning: caring for nature also means caring for something precious. Every plant, every tree can become a work of art in its own right, if only we take the time to truly look.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then came virtual reality. Reactions were mixed: some were fascinated by this new way of experiencing the world, while others simply told me they preferred \u2018real reality.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isabelle Van Grimde\u2019s works seemed to leave their mark. One participant even felt the urge to start moving, as though their body wanted to respond to what they had just seen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Cultural Mediation as a Space for Encounter<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But ultimately, it was the encounter itself that stayed with me the most.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their freedom, curiosity, and poetry will remain with me.
