Led by choreographer Isabelle Van Grimde in collaboration with performer Sophie Breton, composer-performer Thom Gossage and digital artist Jérôme Delapierre, this workshop is an unique opportunity to :

-Learn the company’s gestural vocabulary.

-Discover “Open Work” Concepts.

-Explore and experience the interactive technologies used by the company in its most recent productions.

– Participate to our interactive talk >When digital art and dance converse: the interdisciplinary approach of Van Grimde Corps Secrets.

-Be prepared for the auditions Eve 2050, September 9 and 10, 2017.

The Montreal dance company Van Grimde Corps Secrets relies on an interdisciplinary approach to the dancing body. A dialogue with sciences, technologies and different art forms shape the artistic proposals of Isabelle Van Grimde, which give rise to stage works, exhibitions, installations and performances, publications and interactive Internet works that rethink and reconfigure dance.

Intensive workshop: From Monday, August 28 to Friday, September 1, 2017, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Interactive talk: Friday, September 1, 9.30 am to 12.30pm.
